Joe Longstaff is an Associate Director in the Audit department at Kingswood, based in the firm’s South Yorkshire office. He brings a wealth of experience and a client-focused approach to his role, managing a broad portfolio that spans both the South Yorkshire and London offices. With a reputation for being approachable and detail-oriented, Joe is committed to delivering high-quality audit services and fostering long-term client relationships.

Joe began his career in London, training with Blick Rothenberg Limited where he specialised in audits for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). His early work provided a strong foundation in technical audit knowledge and client management, particularly across complex group structures and diverse business sectors. This experience continues to inform his efficient yet quality-driven approach to audits today.

At Kingswood, Joe’s portfolio includes a wide variety of clients such as limited companies, international groups, academies, and FCA-regulated entities. His ability to understand the unique needs of each organisation allows him to provide tailored advice and support that goes beyond compliance. Joe’s cross-office role also enables him to share insights between regions and promote consistent service standards throughout the firm.

Outside of the office, Joe enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He’s a regular at his local parkrun on Saturday mornings and makes the most of living near the Peak District by exploring the countryside with his fiancé and their energetic cockapoo, Moose.
