Lewis Barnes

Lewis is a Senior Manager based in Kingswood’s London office. Lewis manages a diverse portfolio of clients which encompasses sectors that includes property, technology, construction and services. Lewis’ experience spans financial reporting, corporation tax, management accounts, and VAT.

Balancing a detailed-oriented approach with professional pragmatism, Lewis can be relied upon to support clients in achieving compliance whilst also sharing tailored insights to add value, enable growth and encourage continuous improvement. As the practice itself continues to grow, Lewis is also keen to support the professional development of the wider Kingswood team.

Shortly after graduating from University of York, Lewis joined Blick Rothenberg in 2018 where his focus was on delivering audit, accounts and corporation tax services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) over the course of his training contract. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2021, having achieved multiple ICAEW prizes for his exam performance. After obtaining further post-qualification experience leading statutory audits for entities across a large spectrum of sizes and structures, Lewis joined Kingswood in 2022.

With a passion for the visitor attraction industry and specifically theme parks, when not at the office, Lewis will often swap the thrills of accountancy for those of roller coasters, whether that be in the UK or abroad. He is involved with one of the UK’s largest communities of individuals who share the same interest, which sees him regularly work as part of a team with theme parks on exciting content creation opportunities and to organise events throughout the year. Nonetheless, Lewis also enjoys spending time with family and friends in less adrenaline-inducing environments.
